Our community has traditionally been a mix of seasonal dwellers and full-time residents but since the start of the pandemic, more than half of the homeowners now live in Tiny full-time. While our community welcomes these members, the increased numbers of permanent residents has put significant strain on all our existing infrastructures from health care, education, road construction and maintenance, water, food security, broadband and cellular service. Erik plans to work for the residents of Tiny to ensure world-class delivery of those systems we rely on.
With a strong background in communication sciences, Erik understands that every community faces strife. In Tiny’s case major divisive concerns include, but are not limited to; short-term rentals, and beach access/property rights. As subjects like these drive wedges in the community, Erik is dedicated to using township resources to bring the various positions to the table with a dedication to critical win-win, solution-focused approaches and draw our community closer together.
